Sevenson needed a secure, easy-to-use application for their hundreds of field employees, spread out on jobs across the United States, to create, edit, and manage daily progress reports. They needed an intricate web of permission controls and access levels.
In addition, they needed their website to have the ability to grow and change with their company--previous iterations of the site, built on WordPress, did not allow them to add desired functionality.
2016
We built an entirely new system (React/Node.js/MongoDB) that offers Sevenson huge improvements to theirsecurity and speed.
The layout and UX design is straightforward and easy for employees to learn and use on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
We also added major new features that improve Sevenson’s workflow: the software generates pre-compressed PDFs automatically, locks forms to prevent multiple users from editing the same document, and provides an auto-save feature.
Sevenson’s existing data was imported and integrated into the new system seamlessly. We even managed to delete redundant data in the process, and put systems in place to automatically delete future redundant data, decreasing their database size and thus decreasing their yearly hosting costs.
