C&Co. Handcrafted Skincare

C&Co. Handcrafted Skincare had an existing eComm store, but they felt it didn’t truly represent them as a brand. They wanted their site to better guide their users through an “experience”, and emphasize more what made C&Co. special as a brand.

C&Co. hired Aardonyx to audit the existing website’s information architecture, and to totally redesign the website for a better user experience and a clearer brand message.

2022

We redesigned the product page layout and added custom fields so that shoppers can quickly see brand-specific details they might care about, such as how long a product will last, and information about ingredients.

We also helped the shop owner rethink how to display product names and titles for better SEO and on-site search ability, which will help shoppers find what they are looking for, and boost sales.

We also set up custom reports in Google Analytics that let the shop owner visualize exactly where people are leaving during the checkout funnel, and what products shoppers are looking for most frequently.

We integrated the shop with Klaviyo to allow for customized Abandoned Cart messages and advanced segmentation of the customer lists, for targeted marketing and re-marketing. We also streamlined the use of tags on the blog.

We reorganized the sitemap and how it’s displayed in the navigation and footer to group together regular content, and rename pages and links to make it clear to users where they are going and why.

We re-envisioned how to present the products in a way that would best recreate the in-store, concierge-like shopping experience.

Part of this process involved creating the ability to sell bundled products (without added administrative or accounting overhead for inventory.) Now users can explore products and feel guided to the package that’s right for them.
